Contract-to-hire is very similar to a contracting scenario. It has the additional criteria that the organization is likely to want to hire the individual contractor after some period of time. Contract-to-hire scenarios exist when:
- An organization has the budget for one or more resources in the current fiscal year, but is uncertain if the budget will continue to exist in the next fiscal year.
- An organization believes that an additional role needs to be filled, but would like to have some experience with the individual and the role that the individual fulfills prior to making a full-time commitment.
